Creation of the book

After deciding to write a children’s book in honor of my little boy, I faced a question: where to begin? Should I start with traditional illustration methods, using paper and pencils, or should I opt for using a computer?

Meanwhile, my partner received an iPad as a gift. So, I decided to explore the possibilities offered by her digital tablet. Through my research on the web, I discovered that many illustrators used an iPad to bring their creations to life. That’s when I found the perfect tool to bring my book to life. The question then remained of which application to use for drawing. After consulting several blogs, I settled on the Procreate app. I decided to test it, and it immediately captivated me. Furthermore, being a regular user of Photoshop, I noticed that this app had many similarities with the photo editing software that I was already familiar with.
